CenTrak's laboratory environmental and temperature monitoring system provides real-time insights into the conditions of diagnostic samples and test results in clinical laboratories. Manual recording of refrigeration temperatures is time-consuming and prone to errors, leading to inconsistent data and inaccuracies. CenTrak’s wireless system eliminates these issues by automatically monitoring and alerting staff when conditions fall outside of user-set parameters.
CenTrak’s system includes LCD-display temperature sensors and ambient temperature and humidity sensors, both equipped with 2-year battery life and configurable reporting rates. These sensors can monitor a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels, ensuring the proper storage of clinical specimens. The system stores 30 days of measurement data, allowing for data retrieval in case of power or network outages.
The system's real-time alerting feature notifies staff via email, SMS/MMS, phone calls, and alarms when conditions are abnormal. This enables immediate corrective actions, which are logged for sensor and alert management. Additionally, CenTrak’s environmental monitoring software offers robust graph, alert, and report views, making it easy to analyze data and generate compliance reports.
CenTrak’s solution is scalable and supports various network configurations, including Active UHF and Wi-Fi, with over-the-air firmware upgrades available. The sensors are NIST certified, ensuring measurement accuracy and compliance with ISO-17025 quality protocols.
