Machine Vibration Monitoring for Industrial - Banner
Monitor machine vibration with Banner Engineering's Machine Vibration Monitoring solution to identify potential issues and prevent failures. This system provides real-time data on rotating machinery to detect performance changes, even in remote and hard-to-access locations.
Machine vibration often results from imbalanced, misaligned, loose, or worn parts, leading to increased damage and unplanned downtime. By monitoring motors, pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, and gearboxes, Banner's Machine Vibration Monitoring solution detects problems early, ensuring timely maintenance and reducing severe damage.
The QM30VT Vibration and Temperature sensor, paired with a Q45VTP Wireless Sensor Node, enables remote machine health monitoring. The sensor, easily mounted using standard or magnetic brackets or thermal transfer tape, measures temperature and RMS velocity. Data is sent to a DXM Wireless Controller, which uses machine learning algorithms to establish baseline performance and set control limits. If limits are exceeded, alerts are sent via email or text, and local indications are provided by LEDs or a wireless TL70 Tower Light.
This solution acts as a "Check Engine Light" for rotating equipment, identifying potential issues early and allowing for better maintenance planning and extended equipment life.
Reduced Maintenance Cost
Early identification of potential problems allows for scheduled maintenance before serious damage occurs, reducing overall maintenance costs.
Increased Uptime
Reliable data enables better service schedules and reduces unplanned shutdowns, increasing operational uptime.
Ease of Use
Wireless communication with remote equipment eliminates the need for extensive wiring. Machine learning simplifies the establishment of baselines and control limits for alerts.
Designing and manufacturing industrial automation products including sensors, smart IIoT and industrial wireless technologies, LED lights and indicators, measurement devices, machine safety equipment, as well as barcode scanners and machine vision. These solutions help make many of the things we use every day, from food and medicine to cars and electronics.
